SUMMARY:PANEL DISCUSSION IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
DESCRIPTION:New regulations in the field of water\, chemicals\, packaging\, and packaging waste management \nWHY DID WE CHOSE THIS TOPIC? \nIn the first quarter of 2024\, several very important regulations in the field of environmental protection were adopted\, and the most relevant for the companies operating in Serbia are Rulebook on the manner and conditions for measuring the quantities and examining the quality of waste water and its impact on the recipient\, and the contents of reports on performed measurements (“Official Gazette of the RS”\, No 18/2024)\, Rulebook on the contents of safety data sheet (“Official Gazette of the RS”\, No 11/2024) and Rulebook on forms of reports on packaging and packaging waste management (“Official Gazette of the RS”\, Nos 21/2010\, 10/2013\, 44/2018 and 14/2024). These regulations introduce significant innovations related to wastewater monitoring and content of wastewater measurement reports\, form and content of safety data sheets for chemicals and data that must be submitted when reporting on packaging and packaging waste management. Therefore\, it is crucial for all companies that implement these regulations to be acquainted with introduced novelties so they can adequately prepare for their enforcement. \nDuring this panel discussion\, the most important provisions of these new regulations will be presented\, the reasons for their adoption and how their implementation will affect the company operations.
