Following amendments to the Law on Occupational Health and Safety as well as to related bylaws, a group of Tehpro’s authors has developed a revised version of the Handbook which includes the entire content of the effective Program for occupational health and safety exam which was processed and adapted by authors.

This Handbook is based on the experience acquired during the delivery of 110 preparatory training courses to over 2000 participants who have all successfully passed the certification exam. Thus, this Handbook makes it easy for a potential candidate to prepare herself/himself in the best possible way for taking this exam before the Examination Panel of the Ministry in charge of labor issues.

This publication was designed as a practical guide intended to help its users implement risk assessment procedures and develop risk assessment related documents. The whole risk assessment process, from its inception that begins with the employer’s decision, all the way to the verification of the document itself, is explained in a simple, user-friendly manner accompanied by a large number of real life examples. Persons who have successfully passed the cerƟficaƟon exam and who have acquired experience in project management, are thus able to manage risk assessment process independently as experts on behalf of their employer.

This is Tehpro’s most complex publication project by far. Fourteen authors who are experts in different fields, have defined and developed the basis of prevention in the process of project design, development, utilization and maintenance of work equipment as well as all other preventive measures: organizational, educational, ergonomic, legal, social, etc. This publication provides a critical overview of the current state of things in the implementation of general occupational health and safety preventive measures in our society pointing to the obvious lack of attention to this area outside the work environment of the employer.
