It is a legal obligation of all employers to regulate the employment and legal status of hired personnel, organize occupational health and safety (OHS) and appoint their advisors/associates. The regulations allow employees to elect their representatives and form the OHS Committee. Unions have a natural function to fight for the improvement of working conditions.

Understanding own position is in the System of BZR and cooperation and coordination, of all these categories of employees in a business entity are of key importance for the continuous improvement of the protection of people in the work processes.

METHOD OF REALIZATION
Through lectures, panel discussions and workshops, all current OHS issues will be discussed and examples of best practice of joint work on improving health and safety at work will be presented. Experts from Tehpro will prepare introductory statements and lead thematic panels and workshops, and their good practice can be presented by other participants at the meeting.

Only legal entities that are authorized by the Ministry of internal afairs can organise Training for obtaining the License for making the disaster risk assessment and protection and rescue plan.

Tehpro d.o.o. has been working in the field of OHS, FP, environmental protection and emergency situations for more then 30 years. We have done large number of risk assessments and plans in these fields. Our experts also have extensive experience in adult education, which is verified by the Ministry of Education, and for some programs in these fields we obtained the status of publicly recognized organizer of adult education activities.

TRAINING FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK

Reparatory course for taking the vocational exam

Law
All persons who perform fire protection related activities must pass the professional exam, which is done at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. In order to enroll for the exam candidate must go through mandatory preparatory classes according to the program defined by the appointed minister.

On Saturday, May 18, Tehpro organized a spectacular teambuilding event at a beautiful ranch called Ranch Concept. This unforgettable event brought together all the employees and was a real refreshment for all colleagues.

For all that felt sport’s spirit, there were all sorts of sports activities. Sports games have brought a lot of laughter and fun, but they have also encouraged healthy competition among teams and individuals.

Music was an indispensable part of this event. Everyone indulged in rhythm and excitement, which further raised the energy and mood of our team.

Of course, the biggest hit of the day were three rounds of raffle with prizes that pleased the happiest.

New regulations in the field of water, chemicals, packaging, and packaging waste management

WHY DID WE CHOSE THIS TOPIC?

In the first quarter of 2024, several very important regulations in the field of environmental protection were adopted, and the most relevant for the companies operating in Serbia are Rulebook on the manner and conditions for measuring the quantities and examining the quality of waste water and its impact on the recipient, and the contents of reports on performed measurements (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No 18/2024), Rulebook on the contents of safety data sheet (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No 11/2024) and Rulebook on forms of reports on packaging and packaging waste management (“Official Gazette of the RS”, Nos 21/2010, 10/2013, 44/2018 and 14/2024). These regulations introduce significant innovations related to wastewater monitoring and content of wastewater measurement reports, form and content of safety data sheets for chemicals and data that must be submitted when reporting on packaging and packaging waste management. Therefore, it is crucial for all companies that implement these regulations to be acquainted with introduced novelties so they can adequately prepare for their enforcement.

During this panel discussion, the most important provisions of these new regulations will be presented, the reasons for their adoption and how their implementation will affect the company operations. The new form of the safety data sheet will be presented with concrete examples and what the new forms for reporting on packaging and packaging waste contain, as well as how they relate to relevant EU legislation in this area.
